Contraindications

Cupping therapy may not be suitable for everyone. It is contraindicated in certain cases, including:

• Pregnancy
• Bleeding disorders
• Use of anticoagulants
• Active skin infections
• Serious cardiovascular conditions
• Active cancers
• Fragile or damaged skin

A prior consultation will allow us to assess your eligibility for the treatment.

Legal basis

The processing of your data is based on: your consent (for analytical cookies), the performance of the contract (booking an appointment), and legitimate interest (improving the service).

• Medical records: 30 years (in accordance with Belgian law)
• Appointment data: for the duration of the patient relationship
• Analytical cookies: 13 months maximum

Terms and conditions

Booking an appointment

• Appointments can be booked online via Cal.com or by phone
• A confirmation will be sent to you by email and/or SMS
• If you can't make it, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance

Cancellation policy

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment
• In the event of late cancellation (less than 24 hours) or no-show, the session fee may be charged
• Repeated cancellations may lead to refusal of further bookings

Pricing and payment

• Flat rate: 40 € per session
• Payment is due at the end of the session
• Accepted payment methods: cash, Bancontact
• No refund after the session has taken place

Insurance and reimbursement

Cupping therapy is generally not covered by the basic health insurance scheme in Belgium. Some mutual health funds offer partial coverage through their supplementary insurance. Please check with your health fund.

Liability

The practitioner holds professional civil liability insurance. However, cupping therapy is a complementary practice that does not guarantee specific results. The patient is responsible for sharing any relevant medical information.
